Clients will meet with a psychiatric nurse practitioner to complete a comprehensive evaluation, discuss any symptoms or concerns, and explore medication options if appropriate. Ongoing follow-up is provided to monitor progress and make adjustments as needed to support overall stability and recovery.
What else am I allowed to bring?
In addition to clothing and personal care items, you are welcome to bring comfort and recreational items such as fidget tools, coloring books, and art supplies (including colored pencils, crayons, and markers). You may also bring books for personal reading, as these can support relaxation and engagement during your stay.
Please keep in mind that storage space is limited and shared among clients, so we ask that you bring only essential items and keep personal belongings to a minimum.

The length of treatment is different for everyone and isn’t set to a fixed number of days. Our program is designed to meet you where you are and adjust as you progress. As you move forward, you may transition through different levels of care based on your needs. Our clinical team regularly evaluates your progress using established guidelines from the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) to make sure you’re receiving the right level of support at the right time.
Does my insurance cover my stay?
We strive to ensure that cost is not a barrier to receiving treatment. We accept Kentucky Medicaid and most private insurance plans. For individuals without coverage, we offer self-pay options and a sliding fee scale based on financial need. Our team can also assist you with the Medicaid application process to help you access available benefits.
Can I stay in contact with my family?
Short answer: Yes!
Staying connected to supportive people can play an important role in recovery, so we provide structured opportunities for communication. Clients are able to have up to three (3) scheduled phone calls each week, along with a designated day for in-person visitation. Every situation is different, our clinical team may recommend family involvement, including supportive or therapeutic sessions, when it would benefit the client’s progress. In certain circumstances, additional contact can be approved based on individual needs and clinical discretion.

Please keep in mind that storage space is shared among clients, so packing should be limited to essentials. You are also welcome to bring personal items such as makeup and hair tools.
What happens after I complete treatment?
After completing treatment, our clinical team works closely with each client to develop an individualized aftercare plan based on their specific needs, goals, and location. This may include continued services such as outpatient treatment, therapy, and community-based recovery support.
We also offer referrals to sober living environments for clients who would benefit from additional structure and support. Eligible clients may have the opportunity to stay in sober living at no cost for the first three months while actively participating in an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). Continued placement may be available for up to one year based on clinical need and program participation.
Our goal is to ensure each client has a safe, supportive transition and the resources needed to maintain long-term recovery.
